This was my second cruise with Virgin and my husband’s first. I couldn’t wait to show him everything I loved about it—the relaxed vibe, the amazing food, and all the little details that make it feel nothing like a traditional cruise. They are pretty strict on sticking with your boarding time, so we arrived just a few minutes before 2:30pm. The check-in process & security is super fast, and within 10 minutes we were boarding!

The staterooms are sleek and modern, but still super comfy. Everything’s controlled by a tablet—lights, TV, even the curtains—which makes it feel kind of futuristic in the best way. The beds can be separate (like when I sailed with my sister) or together, and either way, the room feels spacious. Honestly, it’s like a trendy little boutique hotel… that just happens to be floating.

On our sea day and down time, we cuddled up and watched movies- they have a huge selection to choose from. You have a cabin steward who will bring you carafes of still or sparkling water, ice, and anything else you need. If you stay in a Rock Star Suite, you are treated like one– you get a bottomless in-room bar, 24/7 agent attention, daily spa access, and much more!! Ask me how to upgrade!

Our Itinerary: Key West & Bimini Bliss

We sailed to Key West, with its quirky charm and walkable downtown, and then on to Bimini, Bahamas, where Virgin’s private Beach Club awaits. Think swaying palm trees, oceanfront daybeds, DJ-spun vibes, and yes—even the beachside food is included.

It was the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation, all wrapped up in an adults-only, stress-free bow.
